Richard Stocks

Richard was born in 1774 in Berry Brow and his christening took place on February 15th, 1774 in Almondbury.¹

Richard's father was John Stocks and his mother was Sarah Gledhill . He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, Richard, Noah, Sammy, David, James, Betty, Mary, Hannah, Sarah and Phebe. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 1 in December 1775 in Berry Brow. His burial was on December 22nd, 1775 in Almondbury.¹
