Fanny Stocks

Fanny was born in March 1748 in Huddersfield and her baptism took place on April 3rd, 1748 at St. Peter (Huddersfield).¹

Fanny's father was William Stocks and her mother was Sarah Brook. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Stocks and Eliza Wilkinson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Jno, David, Charles, Sarah, Elizabeth, Ellen, Mary and Rachel. She was the oldest of the nine children.
