Elizabeth Stocks

Elizabeth was born in 1752 in Deighton and her baptism took place on November 26th, 1752 at St. Peter (Huddersfield).¹

Elizabeth's father was William Stocks and her mother was Sarah Brook.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Stocks and Eliza Wilkinson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Jno, David, Charles, Fanny, Sarah, Ellen, Mary and Rachel.  She was the third oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 17 in June 1769 in Huddersfield.  She was buried on June 30th, 1769 at St. Peter (Huddersfield).¹
