Emma Stocks

Emma was born on October 13th, 1831 in Lockwood and her baptism took place in May 1832 at St. Peter (Huddersfield).¹

Emma's father was James Stocks and her mother was Hannah Edwards. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Stocks and Elizabeth Hargreaves. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Uriah, Job, George, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah. She was the youngest of the seven children.
