Henry was born on August 5th, 1793 at Colne and his baptism took place on September 1st, 1793 at St. Bartholomew's (Colne).1  Henry's father was James Roberts and his mother was Lucy Coulthurst.  His paternal grandparents were James Roberts and <unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Henry Colthurst and Mary Midgley. He had three brothers and five sisters, named James, Henry, Will, Betty, Eleanor, Mary, Margaret and Ellen.  He died due to a medical problem, Smallpox, at the age of 1 on November 30th, 1794 at Colne.  He was buried on December 2nd, 1794 at St. Bartholomew's (Colne).2
