Ann, known as Anna, was born in June 1866 in Birkenhead.¹

Birth Notes

Anna's father was James Proctor and her mother was Mary Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were Abraham Brereton and Ann Orrett. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, Abraham, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
