Constance's father was Hopley Vernon Price and her mother was Ada Cecillia Woodfire. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Price and Mary Brereton. She had two brothers and three sisters, named George, Robert, Eva, Elsie and Vera. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 96 in 2015 in Wrexham.
