Elizabeth was born in September 1860 in Salford.1  Elizabeth's father was James Partington and her mother was Frances (Fanny) Eddowes.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Eddowes and Charlotte Morris. She had six sisters named Ellen, Emma, Mary, Charlotte, Emma and Margaret.  She was the youngest of the seven children.  She died at 3 months old in December 1860 in Salford.2
