Frances (Fanny) Eddowes

Frances, known as Fanny, was born in 1822 in Wrexham.¹

Birth Notes
- Aged 39 in 1861, born Wrexham

Fanny's father was Thomas Eddowes and her mother was Charlotte Morris. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, John, Thomas, Daniel, Charlotte and Sarah. She was the sixth oldest of the eight children. She died due to a medical problem, Typhus, Feaver, at the age of 43 on November 20th, 1865 in Barton upon Irwell. Her burial was in November 1865 in Eccles.²³

- In 1840 Frances of Beford, Leigh, daughter of Thomas Eddowes, a Maltser married James Partington at Leigh. James Eddowes (assumed brother) was witness.
  
  In 1841, Frances Partington (20, Independant) was living in Salford with Thomas and Sarah Buckley, a builder, while James was away.
  
  Known as "Fanny" in 1851
  
  1861 James, a painter, and "Fras" (46 & 39) were at Regent Road, Salford with their three daughters. The record shows Frances was born at Wrexham
  
  James and Frances both died in November 1865, just 6 days appart.
