Thomas' father was Thomas Eddowes and his mother was Charlotte Morris. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, John, Daniel, Charlotte, Sarah and Fanny. He was the seventh oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 65 in June 1889 in Wrexham.³
