Margaret, known as Maggie, was born in March 1868 in Neston.

Birth Notes

Maggie's father was William Oxton and her mother was Thomasine Bryan. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Oxton and Rachel Williams. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George, William, Joseph, Thomas, John, Mary, Alice and Ann. She was the third youngest of the nine children.
