Birth Notes

George's father was William Oxton and his mother was Thomasine Bryan. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Oxton and Rachel Williams. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Joseph, Thomas, John, Mary, Alice, Maggie and Ann. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
