William Mather

William was born in December 1862 in Whitefield.¹

Birth Notes

William's father was Francis Mather and his mother was Rachel Whitworth Mills. His paternal grandparents were James Chadwick Mather and Sarah Charlton. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Francis, Arthur, Thomas, Elizabeth, Emma, Betsy and Sarah. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
