Robert Mather

Robert was born in September 1861 in Bolton.¹

Robert's father was John Mather and his mother was Betty Edge. His paternal grandparents were Geffrey (Jeffery) Mather and Catherine Gregory. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Edward, William, Catherine, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Robert, John and Louisa.

- Robert was born in Western Bolton, so may be another family. However, there arre no other families witha Robert and no possible deaths before 1870 (the next Robert)
