Mary Mather

Mary was born in June 1858 in Little Hulton.¹

Mary's father was John Mather and her mother was Betty Edge.  Her paternal grandparents were Geffrey (Jeffery) Mather and Catherine Gregory. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Robert, William, Catherine and Elizabeth.  She was the third oldest of the six children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Robert, John and Louisa.  She died at the age of 15 in July 1873 in Deane.  She was buried on August 1st, 1873 at St. Mary (Deane).²
