Richard Mather

Richard was born on July 6th, 1788 in Redvales and his baptism took place on July 27th, 1788 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Bury).¹

Richard's father was Francis Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Chadwick. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, John, Francis, James, Mary, Hannah, Sally, Hannah and Esther.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.  He died at just 27 days old on August 2nd, 1788 in Redvales.  He was buried on August 3rd, 1788 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Bury).¹
