In 1881, Richard and Mary Ann (23 & 21) were living at 11 Market Street. Richard was still a collier and Mary Ann a Green Grocer.
In 1901, Richard Mather and Mary Ann (44 & 41) were farmers with Arthur (19), Annie (13) and Florrie (6)
In 1911, Richard Mather and Mary Ann (54 & 51) were farmers with Annie (23) and Florrie (16)
Note: Richard's father was a Blacksmith when he married in 1855 and when brother John married in 1892.
