Mary Mather

Mary was born about 1730 in Leigh. She died on September 20th, 1776 in Pennington. Her burial was on September 20th, 1776 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Leigh).¹

General Notes
- There is no evidence that Mary was married to Thomas other than she died at Pennington and Robert's mother was Mary.
  
  After Thomas died, Mary a widow married another Thomas. However, the marriage may not have lasted, as her death is recorded as Mary Mather Wid (but this may be simply because she was buried with her first husband).
