General Notes
There is no evidence that Mary was married to Thomas other than she died at Pennington and Robert's mother was Mary.
After Thomas died, Mary a widow married another Thomas. However, the marriage may not have lasted, as her death is recorded as Mary Mather Wid (but this may be simply because she was buried with her first husband).
Mary and Thomas were married in a religious ceremony on November 8th, 1769 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Leigh).2
Mary and Thomas were married. They had five sons and two daughters, named William, Thomas, John, Joseph, Robert, Catherine and Mary. There are possibly more children.
