Richard Mather

Richard was born in June 1858 in Bolton and his baptism took place on December 5th, 1858 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Richard's father was Wright Mather and his mother was Margaret Barker. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Morris. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Isaac, Elizabeth, Agnes, Nancy and Margaret. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James, Samuel and Mary. He died at the age of 64 in June 1922 in Bolton.³
