Isaac Mather

Isaac was born in December 1865 in Little Bolton and his baptism took place on December 31st, 1865 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Isaac's father was Wright Mather and his mother was Margaret Barker. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Morris. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard, John, Elizabeth, Agnes, Nancy and Margaret. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James, Samuel and Mary. He died as an infant at 1 months old on January 17th, 1866 in Little Bolton. He was buried on January 20th, 1866 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.²³
