John Thomas Mather

John's father was Wright Mather and his mother was Margaret Barker.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Morris. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Isaac, Elizabeth, Agnes, Nancy and Margaret.  He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James, Samuel and Mary.  He died at the age of 3 in 1866 in Bolton.¹
