Nancy (Annie) Mather

Nancy, known as Annie, was born in June 1876 in Middleton.¹

Annie's father was Nathaniel Mather and her mother was Mary Crow. Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel (Nathan) Mather and Alice Brooks. She had a brother and two sisters, named James, Mary and Mary. She was the youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 53 in December 1929 in Oldham.²

  The Nancy Mather that died at Eagley Bank, Halliwell in 1937 was another, a widow, aged 71 (so born 1866)
