Mary Ann Mather

Mary was born in March 1844 in Rochdale.¹

Mary's father was James Mather and her mother was Catharine Chandler. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph Mather and <Unknown>. She had six brothers and a sister, named Ralph, James, John, Thomas, John, William and Elizabeth. She was the fifth oldest of the eight children.
