Mary Ann Mather

Mary was born in 1805 in Middleton and her baptism took place there on July 29th, 1805.¹²

Mary's father was Bold (Bould) Mather and her mother was Alice Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Eckersley. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, John, James, Ann and Mary. She was the fifth oldest of the six children. She had two half-sisters named Nancy and Eliza. She died in January 1805 in Middleton. Her burial was on January 10th, 1805 in Middleton.³
