Jesse Mather

Jesse was born on May 15th, 1865 in Adlington and his baptism took place on May 30th, 1865 at Christ Church (Adlington).¹

Jesse's father was George Mather and his mother was Ann Anderton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Amy (Amey or Emy) Worsley. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, Amelia, Sylvia, Violet and Maude. He was the fourth oldest of the six children.

General Notes
- Jessie and Annie had a large family. In 1911 there were 8 children alive and two had died. They were living at 42 Market Street, Adlington.
