Jane Mather 
Jane was born in 1822 in WestLeigh.1 Jane's father was Matthew Mather and her mother was Jane Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Mather and Jane (Jenny) Birchenhead. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, Matthew, John, May, Alice and Eliza. She was the oldest of the eight children.
