4 May 1864 Hugonem (i.e. Hugh) Berry Mather, son of Gulielmi (i.e. William) Mather married Margaritam (i.e. Margaret) Langan of Black Horse Street, daughter of Thomas Langan at St Peter & St Paul Roman Catholic Church, Bolton Witnesses were Dionysius and Maria McIntire of 178 Black horse Street.
In 1871, Hugh B Mather (27 and married) was with his parents at 75 Queen Street, Farnworth. He was also recorded at 59 Queen Street with his wife Margaret and three children.
