George William Mather

George was born in 1862 in Withnell.¹

Birth Notes

George's father was Ralph Mather and his mother was Margaret Smith. His paternal grandparents were Edward Yates and Mary Mather. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Alexander, Joseph, John, Ralph, Lucy, Mary, Sarah and Susannah. He was the third youngest of the nine children.
