George Henry Mather

George's father was George Mather and his mother was Esther Glaizbrook.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Mather and Ellen Rigby. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Samuel, George, Ellen, Mary, Alice and Emma.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 1 in 1865 in Bolton.¹
