Fanny Mather

Fanny was born on March 21st, 1836 in Bury and her baptism took place there on May 3rd, 1836 conducted by minister Franklin Howorth.¹

Fanny's father was James Mather and her mother was Fanny Nuttall.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Mather and Betty Walker. She had two brothers and five sisters, named George, Samuel, Elizabeth, Esther, Alice, Sarah and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died at 3 months old in June 1836 in Ainsworth.  She was buried on July 10th, 1836 at Christ Church, Ainsworth.¹
