Ellen Mather

Ellen was born in 1794 in Turton and her baptism took place on October 5th, 1794 in Walmsley.¹

Ellen's father was John Mather and her mother was Ann (Nancy) Greenwood. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Charles, Thomas, James, Alice, Nancy, Ellen, Ellen and Mary. She was the sixth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 1 in November 1795 in Bolton. Her burial was on November 17th, 1795 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²
