Administration of the Effects of Ellen Ridyard formerly of Bolton-le-Moors but late of Adlington both in the County of Lancaster, Widow, who died 14 June 1873 at the "Ridgeway Arms" Inn, Adlington was granted at Lancaster to Robert Ridyard of Bolton-le-Moors in the said County, Bricklayer the Son and one of the Next of Kin.

In 1861, Ellen was a Dressmaker (63) with her nice and nephew Ann and John at 10 Bejing Court off Bradshaw Street.
