Elizabeth (Annie) Ann Mather

Elizabeth, known as Annie, was born in April 1869 in Little Bolton.¹

Annie's father was James Mather and her mother was Mary Stott.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Mather and Mary Dawson. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Charles, John, James, Mary, Emma, Nancy, Sarah, Louisa and Alice.  She was the youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 1 in October 1870 in Bury.  She was buried on October 11th, 1870 at St. Paul (Bury).²
