Ann's father was Charles Mather and her mother was Mary Bently. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Thomas, James, Charles, Isaac, John, Betty, Ann, Mary and Catherine.  She was the oldest of the eleven children.  She died at 3 months old in November 1816 in Lowton.  She was buried on November 22nd, 1816 at St. Luke (Lowton).¹
