Ann's father was Charles Mather and her mother was Mary Bently. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Thomas, James, Charles, Isaac, John, Ann, Betty, Mary and Catherine.  She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 66 in August 1890 in Lowton.  She was buried on August 6th, 1890 in Lowton.
