Ann Mather

Ann was born in January 1831 in Blackrod and her baptism took place on January 16th, 1831 at St. Katherine (B'rod).¹

Ann's father was James Mather and her mother was Ellen Hope. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Entwistle; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Hope and Betty Hope. She had two brothers named George and John. She was the youngest of the three children. She had two half-brothers named Thomas and Ralph. She died at the age of 81 on February 1st, 1912 in Blackrod. Her burial was on February 5th, 1912 at St. Katherine (B'rod).²²
