William Lewis

William was born in October 1829 in Ness and his baptism took place on October 11th, 1829 in Neston.¹²

William's father was Joseph Lewis and his mother was Elizabeth Williams. His paternal grandparents were John Lewis and Mary; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Williams and Ann Millington. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Ben, Mary, Ann, Anne and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 67 in January 1897 in Prescot.³
