Benjamin (Ben) Lewis

Benjamin, known as Ben, was born on March 4th, 1841 in Ness.¹

Ben's father was Joseph Lewis and his mother was Elizabeth Williams. His paternal grandparents were John Lewis and Mary; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Williams and Ann Millington. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, William, Mary, Ann, Anne and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 83 on April 11th, 1924 in Ashton-in-Makerfield.²
