Martha Ledsham

Martha was born in 1757 in Beeston and her baptism took place on March 6th, 1757 at St. Boniface (Bunbury).¹

Martha's father was Richard Ledsham and her mother was Ann Lucas.  Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Richard Ledsham and Mary Sellers; her maternal grandparents were Richard Lucas and Elizabeth Chancelour. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard, William, Sarah, Mary, Ann and Hannah.  She was the second youngest of the seven known children.  She died at the age of 91 in February 1848 in Tattenhall.  She was buried on February 9th, 1848 at St. Alban (Tattenhall).²

‌Martha and Nathaniel were married in a religious ceremony on May 10th, 1780 at St. Boniface (Bunbury).²   The family line is yet to be completed.
