Nancy was born in March 1911 in Chester.¹

Nancy's father was Arthur Lea and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Warburton. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Lea and Elizabeth Brereton. She had four brothers and a sister, named Arthur, Thomas, John, Robert and Mary. She was the fifth oldest of the six children. She died as an infant in March 1911 in Chester.¹
