Sarah's father was John Hopley and her mother was Anne Morgan.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Catherine Lewis. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James, Samuel, John, Ann, Ann, Elizabeth and Catherine.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 8 in November 1797 in Shocklach.  She was buried on November 19th, 1797 in Shocklach.^2 2
