John Hopley

John was born in July 1778 in Bangor-Is-coed (on-Dee) and his baptism took place there on July 6th, 1778.¹

John's father was Thomas Hopley and his mother was Ann Pritchard. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Catherine Lewis. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas, James, Robert, Daniel, Peter, John, Jane and Anne. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 1 in June 1780 in Bangor-Is-coed (on-Dee). His burial was on June 11th, 1780 in Bangor-Is-coed (on-Dee).¹
