James Hopley

James was born in 1783 in Bangor-Is-coed (on-Dee) and his baptism took place there on January 6th, 1783.¹

Birth Notes

James' father was Thomas Hopley and his mother was Ann Pritchard. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Catherine Lewis. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Thomas, Robert, Daniel, Peter, John, Jane and Anne. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
