Joseph Heaton

Joseph was born in 1828 in Little Bolton.¹

Joseph's father was Edmund Heaton and his mother was Elizabeth (Betsy) Mather. His maternal grandparents were Joseph (Joshua) Mather and Mary Thorp. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Hannah, Mary and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 46 on August 31st, 1874 in Halliwell.²
