James Hargreaves

James was born in March 1855 in Burnley.¹

Birth Notes

James' father was William Hargreaves and his mother was Susannah Slater. His paternal grandparents were James Hargreaves and Mary Slater; his maternal grandparents were George Slater and Sarah (Sally) Whitehead. He had a brother named Thomas. He was the older of the two known children. He had twelve half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Thomas, Frederick, James, George, William, Robert, Edward, John, Albert, Alfred, Joseph, James, Martha, Mary, Sarah, Matilda, Harriet and Clara. He died at 3 months old in June 1855 in Burnley.¹
