George Slater

George was born in 1802 R Cliviger & Mereclough.¹

George's father was John Slater and his mother was Susan Britcliffe. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Ralph, Robert, William, Betty, Hannah, Susy, Ann and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
