Allan Hargreaves

Allan was born in March 1907 in Burnley.¹

Birth Notes

Allan's father was Thomas Hargreaves and his mother was Mahala (Milly) Smith. His paternal grandparents were William Hargreaves and Susannah Slater; his maternal grandparents were John Smith and Mary Ann Harfoot. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Frank, Ernest, Harry, Alice, Clara, Isabel and Lucy. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died as a war casualty, WW2, at the age of 40 on June 21st, 1947.
