John Grundy

John's father was James Grundy and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Ellis Mather and Ann Thornley. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Ellis, James, John, William, Ann and Betsey.  He was the third oldest of the seven known children.  He died at the age of 2 on December 8th, 1836 in Little Hulton.
