Birth Notes

Robert's father was Robert Mather (Greenhalgh) and his mother was Jane Rushton. His paternal grandparents were Richard Greenhalgh and Ann Mather. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Abraham, John, Henry, Robert, Peter, Betty and Christiana. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
