Joseph Gledhill 
Joseph was born in 1835 in Almondbury.1 Joseph's father was William Gledhill and his mother was Mary Boothroyd. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Boothroyd and Esther Stocks. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, George, Mary and Esther. He was the oldest of the six children.General Notes
Like his father, Joseph started work as a Coal Miner.
